Hat Affair Loves... Alice McCall...

Alice McCall Winter 2012

When Alice McCall first launched her namesake label in 2004 I was an ardent fan. (I still have a belt and a camisole I bought from her first collection!)

However for the past few years the skirts have got shorter and shorter (forgive me if I don't want to show everyone my bottom). I can safely say the crotch flashing times are almost over. The Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection has seen a bold return to the classic lines, fluid movement and bohemian vibe that became synonymous with the name Alice McCall.

Gorgeous dresses in light cotton dominate with striking prints and folk embroidery. The colour palette features soft pastel shades, mixed with splashes of bright orange and red, not to mention black and white.

You certainly won't blend into the background this winter in her red knit...

Alice McCall is available in David Jones and selected Boutiques.

  1. I love the new collection! I have my eye on the pleated black shorts with the incredible gold belt. So so great! Following your blog now, it is awesome to come across another milliner! I studied it but am now only doing the millinery on the shows I work on.
