I bumped into someone recently and I just had to find out what sunglasses they were wearing. It turned out they were Waiting for the Sun.

Waiting for the Sun is an innovative French sunglasses company fashioning gorgeous eye wear from different types of wood. Focusing on the natural look of each, with a a few bold colours thrown in for good measure. They are unbelievably light to wear, with smooth lines and shapes to die for.

Along with the sunglasses Waiting For The Sun has created one-of-a kind packaging with the objective to reduce waste while distributing modern, original artistic creations. Each pair also comes with a special scarf that is randomly selected. The scarfs are designed by a group of selected artists. Each are given a blank white square to create the perfect accompaniment for these eye catching gems.

Waiting for the Sun is available in Perth exclusively at The Butcher Shop in Northbridge and Fremantle. For a complete list of stockists go to the Waiting for the Sun website by clicking on the link.
